Veerashaiva Samaja of North America [VSNA] is a non-profit, 
tax-exempt, religious organization in the USA. It was founded in 1978. 
The mission of this organization is to preserve and foster Veerashaivism
(Lingayatism) in the North America, and to impart to posterity the Lingayat spiritual 
heritage, its universalistic, democratic values, and the teachings of
Basavanna and his contemporaries including Sri Allamaprabhu, Sri Chennamallikarjuna 
and Akka Mahadevi. 
 
The VSNA Chicago chapter, like other chapters is dedicated to the service of Veerashaiva community. 
The chapter members meet in different venues in Chicago to celebrate festivals like 
Makara Shankranthi, Shivarathri, Basava Jayanthi, Ganesha Chathurthi and Deepavali.
 
 
VSNA Chicago chapter is one of the
sixteen affiliated chapters of Central-VSNA.
